Both the PeeWee and Junior PeeWee teams are undefeated this season, as the MA Vikings continue to their march into the upper echelon of Peninsula Pop Warner football.

For the players, coaches and other volunteer supporters and fans of the Vikings, it's been a spectacular season of fun, success and learning the love of the game.

Good luck in this weekend's playoff semifinal match-ups!

Poster - thanks for the post. A minor correction on the location of the PeeWee game below -

MA Vikings Jr. PeeWees, extending their undefeated season, coached by Harold Atkins and staff, play Saturday at 9 a.m. at Thompson Field in Alameda vs. Berkeley Bears, as you correctly listed.

MA Viking PeeWees play Sunday at 11 a.m., @ WOODSIDE HS, vs. the Hollister Vikings.

The MA Vikings PeeWee squad, coached by Steve Stenstrom and staff to a magnificent 7-0-1 season earning the top seed in the playoffs at their age group, play Hollister AT WOODSIDE HS, not at MA. Hollister and MA played earlier in the season to a tie, the only game not won by the MA PeeWee team this season. One anticipates a great matchup and highly entertaining game at Woodside.

All winners this weekend advance to the Peninsula Pop Warner League Championship round next weekend in San Jose.

Good luck to all!

Love youth football - what a great game for kids to learn about themselves.

Good luck Vikings!

Top seed MA Viking Jr PeeWees destroyed the Berkeley Jr Bears in Alameda yesterday 27-0. Advance to Peninsula Conference Championships next weekend against winner of today's 9am JPW game at Woodside (2 seed RWC vs 4 seed Gilroy.)

Congrats to Coach Atkins' JPW Vikings!!

Coach Stenstrom's top seed Viking PeeWee team plays six seed Hollister today at Woodside at 11am.

Winner of today's PeeWee matchup plays next weekend against three seed RWC PW team, who upset 2nd seed Alamada yesterday 18-12, in quite an entertaining affair that wasn't decided until the final minute.

Good luck to all!

Oh, what the heck - get on out to Woodside HS today for 4 great Pop Warner games. Kids free, adults are 10 bucks.

Great games:

11am PeeWee's 11 and 12 year olds featuring YOUR TOP SEED MENLO ATHERTON VIKINGS against Hollister (also mascotted as Vikings)

1pm Jr Midgets 12 and 13 year olds - Daly City vs Gilroy

3pm Midgets 13 -15 year olds - Berkeley vs Monterey

A bunch of great kids from all over the Bay Area in this wonderful semi-final round of the great American game: POP WARNER YOUTH FOOTBALL
