Mayor Widmer's Verbal Comments Don't Match Hs Press Release

A month after sending out a Press Release to residents that "no contract talks" had taken place regarding compensation reductions to staff, the council has agenda item tonight to furluogh employees and reduction compensation.

Today Widmer is in a newpaper stating: "This has been in the works for some time and the employees knew about it."
