Save Menlo shows its hypocracy

So much for good faith negotiations!
I always suspected that Save Menlo had no interest in improving this project and was only interested in stopping it - without a moments thought as to what would be the implications for Menlo Park if this project is not built. Save Menlo is simply engaging in protecting their own narrow special interests at the expense of the larger community.
If responsible citizens, absent Save Menlo, are unable to work with the city and Stanford to move this project forward to a timely approval then I suspect that Stanford will simply fence off the area (or make it available rent free to various non-profits without making any improvements that require discretionary approvals) and invest its time and money elsewhere.
