Atherton: Fifth resident pulls candidate papers

Michael Stogner, one of seven Atherton residents who applied for appointment to a vacant City Council seat last month, has taken out candidate papers for the Nov. 5 race for the seat.

I hope that the voters are wise enough NOT TO ELECT a council candidate who has received the endorsement of OR any campaign support from the AOPA. One of the biggest issues facing the council is the police services budget and the AOPA contract and NO council member should be beholden to the union in those deliberations.

Good question. When did he move to Atherton?? He ran for the county supervisor seat as a resident of Burlingame, probably the Burlingame Hotel, writes letters as living in San Carlos, so where does he really live? Where is he renting a bedroom this time?
