Uh, excuse me, but if the leased campuses bring in as much as you're claiming, then LL should have been using THAT money to fund building out the overcrowded schools. Hello?

MPCSD needs "only" 23 million in Measure W to handle increased enrollment, and does not have two "really good, strong annual revenue" streams from leased campuses, unlike LL.

In other words, LL has more revenue streams yet needs a bond measure almost THREE TIMES the bond MPCSD is asking, to accomplish the SAME GOAL.

MPCSD will be bringing another school online with 23million, but LLSD will bring online ZERO campuses with 60million.

This is just bad management. We need more schools, not bigger schools.

Las Lomitas is blessed with numerous sources of revenue; even the School district, the co-chair for "Yes on S" and this article make that clear.

This area needs MORE schools, not bigger schools. MPCSD is asking for

If you're like me you just received your property tax bill. You might have noticed it's kind of high. You might have also noticed your already paying $311 to Los Lomitas school district. Measure S will add $30 per 100K assessed value of your property which amounts to hundreds of dollars per year for pretty much any homeowner in this area. This is ongoing through 2045 so if you vote for measure S you're literally signing up for thousands of dollars more in taxes.

Also, where did the $60,000,000 price tag come from? That's a lot of zeros. You could buy a pretty fine mansion in Atherton for $20 million and that includes the land! It makes me wonder what on earth they're planning to build that requires $60 million dollars.

For once can we say no to fiscal insanity? Vote NO on Measure S!
