Woodside: Real estate icon Frances Bohannon Nelson dies

Frances Bohannon Nelson, a resident of Woodside for 55 years and a Peninsula real estate icon and philanthropist, died in her sleep on Saturday, Nov. 23. She was 91.

She was a great lady from the greatest generation. The Bohannon Organization run by Frances and now Dave has a long history of responsible development projects that have made our City and region much better.

She will be missed but her legacy will last.

Frances was a true gem and an absolute treasure for our community. She was kind, caring and generous to a fault.

My sincere condolences to her friends and family.
