Long-time city employee Pat Carson bids farewell to Menlo Park

Thirty-two years ago, Pat Carson came to work for the city of Menlo Park. Now the executive secretary to the city manager, she started as a part-time office assistant in the recreation department, called community resources back then, in 198l.

Pat was always a pleasure to work with back when I covered Menlo Park for the Almanac. I wish her many years of happy travels in her retirement.

One of the best public servants Menlo Park has had. I have never worked with a more professional yet friendly person. Sorry I missed your retirement party.
