Caltrain made a special delivery to Menlo Park on Saturday (Jan. 18).

In its ongoing celebration of being the oldest continually operating passenger railroad in the West, with 150 years of service, a train stopped by the Merrill Street depot, which opened in 1867, to deliver a commemorative plaque that noted the status of the city’s station as a registered historic landmark.

Some of the City Council were on-hand, with Mayor Ray Mueller accepting the plaque from members of the Native Sons of the Golden West.

  1. Is anyone else surprised by Keith focusing on the cameras instead of focusing her attention to the speaker? She may have just found her new billboard shot!
