So here we have Jim Hartnett who along with his wife Roseann Foust, have controlled Redwood City politics for years, becoming the CEO of SM Transit district, Caltrain.
He has no real background in transportation other than sitting on politically elected boards, but is being compensated at $434,000 a year. ( a salary on par with the departing Mike Scanlon)
No wonder the public has no faith in CalTrain and CalTrain is always crying "poor mouth". This is pure political cronyism.
The whole transit district board should be removed for this appointment.
