Kamala Harris has No interest in State of California DMV Computer being Hacked.

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner, another community, on Jun 21, 2015

Editor,

It's not as easy to report a crime as one would think. I first reported it to the AG's Office, They referred me to SMC District Attorney and Sheriff Office. I reported it to SMC District Attorney, and before that the Board of Supervisors of SMC. Our DA realized his office could not investigate this crime and he sent it to the AG's Office. Steve Wagstaffe informed me that they accepted the complaint, I thought finally we are getting somewhere, we will now get the IP address I'm looking for. Nope not so fast

Joyce Blair Supervising Deputy Attorney General informed me that I failed to provide sufficient facts to warrant criminal a investigation.

I asked the AG to identify the IP address that placed San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez's Protected/Confidential license number unto an existing ticket in the California DMV Computer data base.

This act caused his license to be Suspended.

Welcome to San Mateo County

Joyce Blair Supervising Deputy Attorney General could derail Kamala Harris's campaign for Senate.

Michael:

do you honestly believe Joyce Blair responded to you without discussing it with Kamala Harris? Think again. Harris did the math. She has more to gain from San Mateo County by not investigating than she has to lose. The sheeple of SMC have a demonstrated propensity for not caring that their elected officials are corrupt.

I've read it. Thanks. That book is basically a sales book and I'm not selling anything. I'm speaking to someone else. I call them the way I see them and in my opinion, given past behavior, the voters of SMC ARE sheeple. They just keep on reelecting the same corrupt folks over and over and over again.

"I'm not selling anything"

On that point, we agree.

But you are not alone, as evidenced by other posts - your coterie are (is?) equally challenged at:
- making a cogent point
- backing it up with valid, yet concise, evidence
- persuading others to look at it with an unbiased eye

Just something to consider. Good luck.

"Joyce Blair Supervising Deputy Attorney General informed me that I failed to provide sufficient facts to warrant criminal a investigation."

Michael, specifically, what was contained in Ms. Blair's response?

From your posts, the AG had 2 requests to investigate this matter.
1. Your initial request. (I have not seen a copy of that)
2. The request from Wagstaffe (I assume that is contained below)

Good afternoon Michael,

I wanted to let you know that upon receiving the official criminal complaint from you last week, I quickly concluded that it was a complaint that my office should not be investigating. We contacted the Attorney General's Office, forwarded that office the criminal complaint and asked them to review and handle the complaint. We were told that they would review what we received from you and let us know whether they would take it. This morning we were advised that the Attorney General will take the complaint and make contact with you.

I know that is what you tried to do in the first place. Thank you for your patience.

Steve Wagstaffe

Hello Steve,

Please consider this an official criminal complaint, as I submitted it to Kamala Harris our Attorney General and she/her office has advised me to submit it to your office.

August 4, 2014 San Mateo County DA Inspector Jordan Boyd demanded that SMC Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez surrender his California Drivers License, this reason given was that the DMV computer showed it was suspended. This was the first Deputy Lopez had ever heard of this. He was without his license for 60 days, He was unable to drive his adult son who requires extra attention from his parents. Someone who had the ability to access the State of California Computer DMV system and to Deputy Juan Lopez DL number placed his number on somebody else's ticket. I suspect that same individual hacked the United States Postal Service Computer and caused a letter to be sent to Credit Reporting Company changing from Residential to Commercial his condo in Redwood City. Impact was it affected the borrowing ability of his residential property.

As you know I think this should be investigated outside of San Mateo County.

I'm just following instructions from Kamala Harris.

Thank You for looking into this

Michael G. Stogner

To which request was Ms. Blair responding?

Were the 2 requests identical? If so, I suggest that more facts with a timeline should be submitted to the AG. If not, please provide the entire request as made by you to the AG.

You said:
"I asked the AG to identify the IP address that placed San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez's Protected/Confidential license number unto an existing ticket in the California DMV Computer data base." Was that a separate request from the complaint "...as I submitted it to Kamala Harris our Attorney General..."?

Mr. Stogner:

As I have mentioned I have had several telephone conversations with Ms. Blair since 2007. While personally she seems to be a lovely woman , professionally she just doesn't get it. She told me that while she didn't know Wagstaffe on a personal level, in her professional dealings she has found Wagataffe to 'be very honest. " When I said that had not been my experience, she said that she believed he was honest in his dealings with HER.

I do remember that when I was on the phone with her about problems with the DA she got a call from her adolescent daughter. When Blair got back on the phone with me , she said" I can't believe it! My daughter just called me to thank me for making a salad for her. She has never done that before!"

I was confused as to why she was telling me this. Why was she telling me something so personal?

The one thing she did do for me was to forward information about misconduct by Judge Marta Diaz to the California Commission on Judicial Performance for me. As a result, Diaz was privately admonished.

You are barking up the wrong tree with Blair and the AG. Go to La Raza and find a sympathetic reporter outside San Mateo County.

Menlo Voter is correct. Joyce Blair never makes a move without discussing it with Kamala Harris first. Blair has no power and won't make waves against her boss.

If statements are going to made about others on this thread, it should we be great to no basis for them. How does anyone know the management relationship between Ms. Blair and Ms. Harris?

July 30, 2013 City of Torrence Police Department issued a ticket T550467 to a Juan Pablo Lopez who lived in Los Angeles. His Drivers License number starts with an A. Sheriff Deputy Juan Pablo Lopez Drivers License Starts with an N, and his address shows as San Mateo County Sheriff Office.

Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez's California Driver License Suspended January 15, 2014. He drives inmates around for the Sheriff up till August 4, 2014. When DDA Inspector Jordan Boyd informs him it is suspended. Boyd ran a Counselor Inquiry of DMV which showed a Failure to appear and a Failure to Pay on this other gentleman's ticket.

Question: Did anyone in the Sheriff's Dept. or DA's office know about this on January 15, 2014? If so, why didn't they act upon this information?

Joyce Blair Supervising Deputy Attorney General returns Mark DePaula's phone call today.

I'll let him tell you about it.

It's interesting that Joyce Blair Supervising Deputy Attorney General would take the time to call Mark DePaula and discuss this issue at length, when she Never contacted me to discuss my complaint period.

Again Thank You goes to Mark DePaula.

This was almost 2 months before Juan openly became a candidate for Sheriff. If they "hacked" the computer at that time, it was not because Juan was running against Munks.

"At the counter at the Elections Office in San Mateo at about 4:10 p.m. on March 7, he said he learned for the first time that he needed the signatures of at least 20 registered voters on his nomination papers."

Jack asks a great question, Question: Did anyone in the Sheriff's Dept. or DA's office know about this on January 15, 2014? If so, why didn't they act upon this information?

With Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez Drivers License number on civilian Juan Lopez ticket, the mailing address was San Mateo County Sheriff on Jan 15, 2014.

Now that Sheriff Greg Munks and UnderSheriff Carlos Bolanos are aware that the State of California DMV data base has been hacked and one of their deputies with 27 years experience has had a crime committed against him, What action have they taken.

Most Sheriff's would be OUTRAGED, Sheriff Greg Munks what's up.

How and when do citations get into the DMV database? I received a speeding citation in Fresno County which never appeared in the Fresno County Court system. I contacted the Court and was told to keep checking. I did this for a year. I was unable to pay the fine. Since I recently renewed my DL, it must not have gotten into the DMV database. I hope some other Jack Hickey didn't have his license revoked.

Given the handwriting I've seen on citations(I've had a few!) I'm fairly certain that citations are not scanned into the computer. And, computers I use are always trying to finish my entries. (It's a love/hate relationship)
Absent a retaliatory motive to "hack" the system, I suspect that the data entry person, who typed in Juan Pablo Lopez, clicked on the wrong choice offered by a helpful(sometimes) computer. If Deputy Lopez's name on his DL does not include "Pablo", such accidental choice is less likely to have occurred. But then, if the entry procedure is : Lastname, Firstname, M.I. the accident scenario becomes more credible.

I still believe that Juan Lopez has been treated in a criminal manner.

Well, the Pablo issue is resolved. Hacking unlikely without strong motive at the time.

From SMDJ
The attorney for a San Mateo County sheriff’s deputy accused last year in a jail smuggling case and last week in a new case involving embezzlement and fraud accused San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe of bringing a “personal vendetta” against his client.

Juan Pablo Lopez, 51, was charged last November with allowing two corrections officers to smuggle cellphones and drugs to an inmate in the Redwood City jail between April and December 2013.

This thread is about a crime being committed against the State of California, SMC Sheriff Office and Deputy Juan Lopez.

Your question regarding "was there a phone and drugs smuggled in or not?

is covered in this thread based on the testimony of 2 DA Inspectors, there were 2 phones 1 is missing, neither of them were connected to Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez.
