Rather than send Kate Bradshaw, the author of this article about the event on Jan. 31, a private thank you, I decided to make this note of appreciation a public comment on "Town Square". I have to trust, when I agree to an interview, that the result will be not only accurate (which this article is) but also sensitive. My wish is that what appears in print will capture the Spirit of what we talk about during our time together. This article does that. My in-person interview with Kate was wonderfully rich. Her questions were provocative and engaging. She'd pick up on cues and clues and go deeper with meaningful follow up questions. I am so pleased with the result! Thank you Kate for using this opportunity to not only interview me, but to connect with me about my films, and about my life. What a gift you have for using the interview process as an opening for real communication, and then writing thoughtfully about what you learned.
Thank you.
Dorothy Fadiman
