A once noble and proud political party... sigh.
I eagerly await the new conservative political 3rd party that arises from the ashes of this Cataclysm. I will immediately transfer all allegiance to it, as long as it has nothing to do with these two bozo's.
In fact, if they are my only choices, I will vote for Hillary and hold my nose for 4 years and her scandals to bring her down, and await the newly rebuilt conservative party in 2020.
Short term pain, for longer term greatness.

SFGATE: The poll of likely California voters -- Trump on top with 38 percent, followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 19 percent and Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich tied at 12 percent.
My fellow Republicans - what are you thinking?
"Only 46 percent of Republicans said they were satisfied with their choice of candidates."
Oh, okay, lot's of my ilk are in the same boat.
"The fact that California Republicans have a lower approval rating for (the GOP-led) Congress (11 percent) than they do for President Obama (20 percent) says a lot about how dissatisfied Republicans are with the status quo"
I'm no Obama fan either. But the 7 years of job growth following the Bush recession, along with the Clinton job growth of 23 million jobs have me rethinking who best serves America.
And the clowns left in the GOP primary have me worried. Even Kasich is doing his best Alfred E Newman impression. Can't you just see the "What, Me Worry" thought bubble above his head every time he drones on?
I probably won't vote for Hillary. Just leave the top line blank.

In other news: Sun rises in East.
I await the new Conservative Party. Boot out the racists and nationalists. Bring back all the Reagan Democrats, but not the baggage of the South.

Like it or not, the Bush recession marked the end of the "fiscal conservative" Republican base. Now all we have left is the "social conservatives", which are largely the people that are now supporting Donald Trump.

Donald Trump launched a new attack last night by leaking that religious conservative Ted Cruz has recently had at least 5 extra-marital affairs, including with Donald Trump's own spokeswoman and also with Carly Fiorina's campaign manager. Makes you question the morals of both of these guys, as well as with Ted's taste in women.

Donald Trump is now accusing Marco Rubio of leaking the report about Ted Cruz's affairs. What is the truth? No one really doubts the truth about the affairs, but the truth about how they were exposed is still murky.

Another good-book thumper, running a campaign that says his Family Values are superior to your tawdry valu.... uh-oh.
