Trump headlines local CA GOP convention in 2 weeks

Original post made by Corner Office, Menlo Park: Sharon Heights, on Apr 15, 2016

Our CA GOP party proudly announces that Donald J. Trump, presumptive party nominee for president, headlines the upcoming party convention up the road in Burlingame.

Polls released earlier this month had Trump leading the field at 39 percent of likely GOP voters, trailed by Cruz at 32 percent and Kasich at 18 percent.

Trump's assessment of the situation: this week he called the party's system "rigged" and "corrupt."

Will the Trump supporters be required to wear their brown party uniforms for the occasion?

Will the Almanac cover this local event?

More to the point: Will the SWAT teams be ready to deal with the Trump supporters?

Perhaps.

There were definitely a lot more BART police on patrol today. And it seems like a lot more helicopters are buzzing around today.

Exciting!

California Republicans finally matter! All the DTS wannabes don't get a say in conservative politics this time around.

California Republicans matter again!

Woo-hoo! The Donald parked on 101 just north of the Burlingame exit and walked to the back entrance of the hotel. Had to shut down 101 for Mr. Trump. Shut it down again as he left. Shown by helicopter video on all the news channels.

Way to outsmart the pinkos, Donald!

Make America great again.

Red hats for everyone!

Sammy - The Donald supports the 2nd Amendment, the one that really matters. If the patriotic Trump Supporters were carrying last week, those librul agitators would have run away.

Make America great again.

It always seems odd to me that since the Reagan "Conservative revolution"
in the 80's that as Conservative influence, policy and legislation has grown
and taken the weaker states and much of the Federal government that
Conservatives find more and more to complain about louder and louder.

I don't want to be rude or provocative or anything, but maybe Conservatism
and the folks that riled you all up were not really what you were looking for
and you are mad and throwing fits over the wrong thing?
