Measures A and C - Thank you

Original post made by Peter Carpenter, Atherton: Lindenwood, on Apr 23, 2016

It has now been 80 days since the MPCSD Board voted to place these two Measures on a Special Election ballot.

I would like to thank:

1 - Barbara Wood for her continued in depth coverage of this issue,

2 - The Almanac for its strong Editorial on this issue,

3 - The Almanac for publishing a response to its Editorial by the MPCSD Board Chair,

4 - The Almanac for fostering discussion and debate on this issue in the Town square Forum,

5 - The many posters who have presented facts and opinions on both sides of this issue on the Town Square Forum,

6 - Each of the voters who have taken the time to become well informed on this issue and who have then cast an informed vote.

Our democracy is well served by all of the above.
