Track & field: Miranda breaks Menlo school record

Menlo School sophomore Robert Miranda ran himself into the history book at the Sacramento Meet of Champions on Saturday as he ran the 1,600 in 4:21.98, breaking a school record that stood for more than 40 years.

Headline should reference Menlo, not M-A. The M-A Boys' all-time school record in the 1600m is 4:13.38, set by Evan Anderson in 2005.

I'm Scott Marconda. In 1981 I ran the 1500m in 4:05 as junior. That is a 4:21.3 1600m. Your math is off.
