Why I will vote for Senator Sanders

Original post made by David Smernoff, Portola Valley: Los Trancos Woods/Vista Verde, on Jun 3, 2016

The reason I want to see Sanders v Trump is because the Donald openly exploits the economic system set up to benefit the extremely wealthy. The same system that the Bernie takes to task consistently and coherently. The Clintons exploit the same system, perhaps with a more nuanced approach. Clinton v Trump would thus only be a contest between the same forces that drive the economic, social, environmental and political inequalities that plague our Nation.

A simple aquatic analogy might help. In the raging torrent of income inequality, Clinton will, in the end, sell us out downriver. Trump will send us downriver and over the falls. Sanders has consistently been paddling furiously upriver against that current. If you want to get to calmer waters upstream, Vote for Sanders on Tuesday.

Already voted for Bernie. I find in incomprehensible when I see another (alleged) Sanders supporter claim that Hillary and Trump are somehow equivalent.

Zero facts from the poster above. Just rambling, unsupported opinion. Yes, I love Bernie also, but I refuse to make false unsubstantiated claims about Hillary being somehow like a bloviating misogynistic racist, with zero plans on how to run this country and keep peace in the world.

Donald approves NUKES to Japan and Saudi Arabia?!?!? Sure, just like Clinton. (Almanac desperately needs a sarcasm font!)

Am curious - what do you think Netanyahu thinks when he hears Trump thinks it's okay for Saudi Arabia to have nukes?

More nukes, just visit what we need.

I have yet to meet someone willing to publicly defend Trump.

You?
