M-A grad Melvin signs contract extension with the A's

The Oakland A's agreed to terms with manager Bob Melvin, a Menlo-Atherton graduate, on a one-year contract extension through the 2019 season, the club announced Thursday. His most recent extension was set to expire at the end of the 2018 season.

Good for him! Now maybe he can afford to kick in the money he promised to help fix up the baseball field.

oh well. A's suck anyway.
