No security cameras at this bank?

Oh; dressed in black. No gender, no height, no race, nothing about the car. Really?

I was a customer in the bank when the robbery happened. I saw the first robber who said get down, this is a robbery. No quotes as I was too shaken to remember exactly what the robber said. I got on the ground and it was an intense few moments, that it what it seemed. Probably about a minute. There is more but I but that is enough.

With a 'sketchy' description, I will call the police the moment I see those two robbers! More and more often, I read of a crime but there is no description of the criminals, not even height or build. Why?

Because the newspaper wants to be politically correct?
[Editor's note: The Almanac has asked the Sheriff's Office for details, including descriptions of the two robbers. The agency would not provide those details. Is the Sheriff's Office spokesman being politically correct? Perhaps you shouldn't jump to conclusions.]

Maybe if it was not so hard for honest, law abiding citizens to get concealed carry permits, the armed robbers would be less likely to try this.

If customers in the bank were carrying guns there is a good likelihood that there would also be injured or killed customers regardless of what happened to the bank robbers.

If the bank robbers knew there were citizens trained trained to use guns they might be less likely to rob a bank in the first place.
If they took the chance and robbed the bank anyway the may end up getting shot.
Both options are acceptable

Details from the agency are sketchy; the bulletin says the two robbers were dressed in black clothes but doesn't identify their gender.
The next time I see 2 persons dressed in black I'll be sure to report it.
Or maybe if I see one person dressed in black I'll report it in case they split up.

You do not have my permission to turn a bank lobby into a shooting gallery just because you think that you are Wyatt Earp!
Let them take the money.

I like the way the Almanac editor snapped back at the online anonymous comment. Guess the new editor feels the vile taste of their own medicine: allowing anonymous comments.

All I can say is that you all are being incredibly insensitive. I am a customer of this branch and really like the new staff they've brought in this last year. There may not have been physical injuries but I know they are suffering in other ways. I would think the Sheriff and FBI have more details than they are releasing because it would hinder their investigation. Show some compassion people!
