School district puts hold on new artificial turf studies

A proposal to spend $43,000 to further study the possible health hazards of artificial turf playing fields at Hillview Middle School and Kelly Park in Menlo Park was tabled by the Menlo Park City School District's governing board on March 13.

I agree that another study is not warranted. There's plenty of study and data to be had. People tend to cite research that supports their point of view or budget.

Ms. Bins has plenty of time to raise the funds for an addition study on and fields AND raise the money to replace the fields and forget about the tax payers doing it. Enough is enough.
