"The easement's purpose, according to the document, is "to assure that the Property will be retained forever as a natural, scenic, historic and horticultural resource, and to prevent any use of the Property that will significantly impair or interfere with the Conservation Values of the Property."
I hope that holds up...

It's really sad to see this estate come up for sale. Somehow, while knowing the property was private, I was under the impression that it was a landmark estate, and thus under restrictions (like Filoli, for example). The small rustic stables down near the road, by the caretaker's house, was leased out a couple of years ago to some local horse people. We were happy to see it in use, and so was the caretaker.

It would be great if they could find a purchaser who actually wants to be part of a horse community, as well as part of historic Woodside. We would welcome them. The best people in Woodside don't actually care how much money you have. We only care if you are fun to be around, and nice to other people.

I’ve heard thru sources in the music biz that P.Diddy has been sniffing around. His only concern is having a helipad and a larger garage for his stable of cars.
