The model railroad display is often open to the public on Saturdays, club member Lou Cartalano told The Almanac. “People are always welcome to drop by on Saturday afternoon,” he said. “From 1 – 5 p.m. is a good time when you can expect someone to be there.”

The display is located in a beige one-story wooden building at the south end of the Caltrain station on Merrill Street in Menlo Park.

  1. Congratulations to all who ‘Worked on the Railroad’. My wife and I watched from the ‘First Spike’ (Wood Supports and Plywood deck) to the Golden Spike. A lot of fun to watch and the final result a visual and engaging delight.
