How much does this expansion have to do with Facebook rather than just bringing up the service level for the residents of Bell Haven and EPA?

Station 2 upgrade and additional equipment were driven by anticipated growth in EPA.
Station 77 equipment augmentation was driven by Gateway and Facebook developments.

It's so unfortunate, but not surprising, that the Fire District wanted to hoard its new ladder truck for itself and not provide it for responses to other agencies. All the other departments give and take regardless of size or number of calls. This is how it should be. Glad the elitist plan didn't stick.

Their is no elitist plan. On the contrary MPFPD provides more mutual aid to other agencies than MPFPD receives from those agencies.
While those other agencies are reducing their response capacity MPFPD is increasing its response capacity.

Thank you for not denying my statement. Now, please provide the numbers of calls and your source, preferably that of an independent third party.

Flyover - You made the allegation ( not provide it for responses to other agencies.) so they burden of proof is on you not on me.

So, to my original comment, are you affirming or denying that the Department wanted to keep the ladder to itself?
Then, you cited statistics for which I'm simply interested in hearing the numbers that support your statement.

That was your comment, not mine.

It can be hazardous to name employees who have insight. So rather than do that, you can simply tell us if this is all just a rumor and that the subject was never discussed.
Then, you can provide numbers related to the call statistics you cited.

Flyover - You made an unsupported assertion - simply document that assertion or we can recognize it as fake news.

Peter grow up and answer the person's question. Your responses or lack thereof can be very childish and exasperating.

I answered their question:
"There is no elitist plan. On the contrary MPFPD provides more mutual aid to other agencies than MPFPD receives from those agencies.
While those other agencies are reducing their response capacity MPFPD is increasing its response capacity."

PS - And it is NOT my job to answer other people's questions. I no longer work for the citizens of the Fire District.
