Snow survey shows twice as much as average in some locations

The latest survey of the Sierra Nevada snowpack on April 2 found what a state water official called "practically a California water supply dream" with twice as much snow as normal in some locations.

And it's a shame that the state hasn't done anything to do anything to collect all that extra water.
