Woodside, Portola Valley councils bestow raises on town managers

Woodside and Portola Valley rewarded their town managers with raises in late March, with Woodside's Kevin Bryant receiving about a 3% bump to $218,000 annually and Jeremy Dennis of Portola Valley enjoying about a 6% annual increase, to $216,625.

One way Woodside can quickly and completely lose its charming rural character is to burn to the ground.

As an ex-resident of PV I’m really happy to see that the PV manager sees that as a top priority, especially the PREVENTION part.

Protecting its citizens lives, health and property should be any government’s first priority. Making sure the town is nice to look at belongs way down the list.

I hope Woodside’s manager and the rest of the town government is in agreement and is acting according to those priorities.
