Bikes and pedestrians are not in danger crossing the train tracks - they are in danger crossing El Camino. This is a stupid expenditure of taxpayer dollars.

Schmidt is [portion removed; if you can't be civil, don't post on this forum]. His opinions are useless. This isn’t news.

Actually, Schmidt is the voice of reason here. The crossing at the creek is already elevated so when the crossing at Ravenswood is fully elevated, as it should be, the bike/ped tunnel will be able to pass under the tracks at grade. Now that we have district elections in Menlo Park, the council need not be paralyzed by a few people in District 3 with train tracks in their back yard.
