RCSD issues RFP for lease of Hawes, Adelante and Orion schoolsites.

After passing several, multimillion dollar bond measures to upgrade their school facilities, the Redwood City School District now faces the reality that they don't have enough students to fill their facilities. They are seeking RFP's from potential lessee's for three of their facilities. See:

As an advocate for taxpayers, I suggest that revenue accruing from sale or lease of the facilities should be used to service the bonded indebtedness incurred by the RCSD. That includes state bonds used for matching funds. Property owners should see a significant reduction in their tax bills.
