Original post made by Judy A, Menlo Park: Downtown, on Sep 16, 2019

This engaging documentary will screen at Menlo Park's Little House Senior/Activity Center theater, just down the hall from the Cafe (800 Middle Ave. phone 650-326-0665) as part of the "Cinema, Conversation and Coffee" series. The film chronicles prima ballerina Misty Copeland's long and dramatic ascent to stardom. This intimate documentary examines the African-American dancer's unique impact on the rarified world of classical ballet. This one will be a “feel good” film! Films are shown in the Little House Theater, just down the hall from the Cafe. Sweet snacks are served. View the trailer at Web Link

The movie is free for Little House members, or a $3 donation from non-members. Little House is at 800 Middle Avenue, Menlo Park. For information phone 650-326-0665
