How did they determine it was intentional?

If you were standing somewhere and a car hit you, you would know whether it was intentional or not. If you were standing staring at the driver when they put it into drive and hit you trying to escape that would make a determination that you would feel you had been assaulted intentionally.

We will get more information but I support the police they will have a videotape of it it will be open to the public. The comments seem to be assuming the police are wrong without any information, this is a sad assumption. We have been here for three generations and the police have been wonderful, honest, transparent to the public The hatred towards people running our country should not come down on the local police

I just asked how it was determined it was intentional. A few things caused me to wonder about this, not the least of which is if I somehow determined I wanted to hit someone with my car (but not seriously injure or kill that person), I would be concerned that I would not apply the correct amount of force and it might have some very unfortunate consequences, both for the person I wanted to hit and for me (and especially if that person were a cop).

I don't hate Pres. Trump.

By the way, the Almanac ran another story a few years ago about the Menlo Park police charging a homeowner with trying to hit a code enforcement officer with his car while he was leaving his driveway, and he was tried and found innocent of that charge.
