Menlo Park documentary filmmaker dies unexpectedly at 66

Michael Schwarz, a longtime Menlo Park resident with a gift for documentary storytelling, died unexpectedly on Dec. 1 at age 66 as a result of a fall in his home, just weeks before his latest film was to be aired on PBS.
