Greening the grid

Original post made on Jan 9, 2020

In the fall of 2014, two San Mateo County supervisors sat down with a group of environmental advocates to discuss something called "Community Choice Aggregators," or CCAs — a phenomenon that was just starting to take off in California.

> I had no idea...

Thank you Matthew Vollrath for your reporting on the county's green energy program. I'm all for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. However after reading the article, I still don't understand what PCE does. Do they fund and actually build new green energy projects (if so, where does the money come from?)

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Where can I find great deals from state (rebates) on green cars?
