Willie Mays to be honored in naming of new Atherton Library conference room

The Atherton City Council has voted unanimously to name a conference room in Atherton’s new library after Giants baseball legend Willie Mays following a donation from Mayor Rick DeGolia and his wife.

A nice and somewhat unique tribute to Mr. Mays and a nice gesture and donation by the DeGolia family. Thank you to both.
