Guest opinion: Five steps to reduce the risk of nuclear war

In an op-ed in the July 31 edition, Menlo Park residents Judy Adams and Richard Duda write in favor of a proclamation signed by Menlo Park and cities nationwide endorsing a call to reduce the risk of nuclear war.

Thank you for this expert assessment of not only the sources of the problem, but what we can do about it. I'll be taking action myself with my officials and the organizations of which I'm a part, and urging action in our church service this Sunday, the 75th anniversary of Nagasaki.
