Guest opinion: Halloween during a pandemic doesn't have to be scary

In an op-ed in the Oct. 16 issue, school superintendents Erik Burmeister, Beth Polito and Gina Sudaria implore families to plan alternative celebrations for upcoming holidays, including Halloween, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
