Inspired by the pandemic, Menlo Park women create phone buddy program for isolated seniors

When the pandemic triggered widespread shutdowns last year, Menlo Park resident Laura Steuer had already put herself in lockdown, as she had a preexisting condition that made her vulnerable to COVID-19.

What a creative way to support our community during Covid and always. We are all as a community so much wiser and richer when we make time to listen to elders and so happy to know that this service was created! Thank you Laura, Donee and everyone who participates!
