In my humble opinion, I read recently, Elizabeth Holmes was pushed by her Mother to succeed. Even to the point that her parents sent their daughter overseas to get foreign immersion language training to ease Elizabeth's ability to get into Standford. I'm not saying Elizabeth didn't do anything wrong; I'm just saying there was a stong parental atmosphere in her home to succeed!
