Menlo-Atherton Leo Club Veterans Giving Tree

The Menlo-Atherton Leo Club proudly delivered gifts for over 30 Veterans in the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) at the Menlo Park VA Center on February 25th for their Virtual Giving Tree event. Veterans list their wishes, M-A Leo Club members sign up to purchase the gifts, the M-A Leo Club has a gift wrapping party, then they deliver the gifts to the Veterans. This is usually an annual holiday event. Due to Covid-19, the Leos were asked to postpone the event until after the holidays this year. M-A Leo Club President, Amelia Kratzer, shared that "it was great to continue the Giving Tree tradition for the Veterans and they were even more excited this year due to the later time frame. We feel honored to get to support the Veterans!"
