Ladera resident Jean Rusmore, an avid hiker and author with a fascination for nature, died on April 1 in Aptos at the age of 101.

Wow. My condolences to the Rushmore family. My father died last Oct. he was also 101 and attended Berkeley in 1938. I wonder if their paths ever crossed. Incidentally, my father’s father’s name was also Oscar.
Jean lives a full life
