Menlo-Atherton Leo Club at Encinal Family Science Night

Original post made by M-A Leo Club, Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park, on May 11, 2022

The Menlo-Atherton Leo Club led a hands-on experiment for about 60 students at Encinal Elementary School for their Family Science Night on April 22. The M-A Leos made Magic Milk with the kids, a science experiment to teach them about how molecules bond. Amelia Kratzer, M-A Leo Club President, exclaimed that “Megan Lam, Project Lead, and VP Parsa Zaheri did a great job creating and implementing this event so that students were really engaged! Our goal is to help these young students get excited about STEM and I could see it all evening as more and more kids wanted to participate and asked us questions.”
