Almanac publisher announces retirement after four decades at the helm

Almanac Publisher Bill Johnson will retire later this year, he announced to his employees last week. Johnson will be succeeded by Palo Alto native Adam Dawes, who enters the role after two decades in tech.

Congratulations and thanks to Bill for his exemplary leadership of Embarcadero Media over many years. The local community is stronger and better informed because of it. It looks like his successor is well equipped to take the company into the future, with Bill's guidance.
