Although these are ambitious goals stated in the Guest Opinion piece, we need to realize that ambitious goals are what it will take to make a dent on climate change. Carbon sequestration in soils is a proven technology, as the author states, and could be implemented easily and with precision. Let's at least start there and work our way towards the other goals in the article!
