I'm pleased to see an article that reflects some of the excellent discussion that took place last week. I do wonder if the reporter stayed for the whole event, since this piece missed an opportunity to comment on at least three rather well framed questions. The first regarding balancing Town government with Committee input. The second, how to imbue an increased level of professionalism at all levels of government. Lastly, the rather difficult subject of there being no audit submitted by the town for the last three years.

Ultimately, democracy and open discussion was the real winner last Thursday.
