Judge denies Elizabeth Holmes' request to remain free while appeal is resolved

Time is running out for Elizabeth Holmes, the convicted founder and CEO of Theranos, the now-defunct blood-testing company. In an order late Monday night, a federal judge denied her motion for bail pending appeal.

She could have received a sentance of 20 years, she received 11 by a jury of her peers. The judge will reduce the sentance to 9.5 years for good behavior. How grandiose we all believe we are at 20 years old, only to discover at 40 we could have made fewer disappointing and medioce choice. So sad for her ill-timed progeny.
