Friends remember slain Atherton arborist as generous, hard-working

The friends of Kathy Hughes Anderson, former Atherton arborist who was murdered in her Menlo Park home, don't want her defined by her death. Instead, they hope that she'll be remembered for her generosity and hard work.

How lovely to read this uplifting story about Kathy Hughes Anderson as described by her friends--rather than just hearing of her as the Atherton arborist who was brutally slain in her home. She sounds like a wonderfully giving person.

My condolences to Hughes Anderson’s many loved ones. Although I only knew her slightly, I think of her whenever I drive down her street. After reading this lovely tribute to her, I will now think of her when I see and hear the wind in the trees.
