Bill proposing Bay Area bridge toll increase gets shelved

A bill proposing a $1.50 toll increase for Bay Area bridges for five years to fund public transportation has been shelved, its authoring legislators said Monday, Aug. 21.

Terminate High Speed Rail and use the funds for local rail transport where there is real value.
