Bragg for City Council 2012 - Coffee Chat at Crepe's Cafe Friday Morning 8/10/12

Today starts the begining of the City Council race and with two seats needed to be filled Dave Bragg wants to get his message and positions on issues to as many residents of Menlo Park as possible. So this morning was the start of his Coffee Chat meetings at local businesses in Menlo Park. Today he had the opportunity to have a great breakfast and met with a group of people to discuss some of the concerns that faces our community at the Crepe's Cafe on Merrill St at the corner of Oak Grove Ave in Menlo Park.
The topic's heard and discussed today seemed to focus mostly on the local parks and the ideas Mr. Bragg has on bringing businesses back to the downtown area. Also brought up were graffiti issues, recycling bins around the area.and if Mr. Bragg thought his running while being a firefighter and contractor in the City might be be a conflict of interest. Mr. Bragg quickly dismissed that notation with several points that made sense and the attendees were unaware of. Mr. Bragg had this to say about this mornings Coffee Chat, " It was nice to see locals willing to be a part of this. The food was awesome and they had a chance to hear directly from me my position on the issues that were concerning them. I know this may open the door to difficult issues but if that what the voters want to hear about then I say, bring it on.."
When asked if he was willing to discuss any topic Mr. Bragg said this, "What being in combat has taught me is to be ready for anything whether friend or foe so being in Menlo Park and talking to the locals is way, way better than being in the hostile surrounding of Iraq any day. I love it here and will do all that I can to make sure everyone loves it here".

Dave Bragg has made the topics discussed today on his campaign website, look for Coffee Chat 10/8/2012 at
