Was this probation guy connected to the Dr.Ayres scandal in some way--seems like a whole lot of the wrong people in the wrong positions up at the county level when it comes to teens and child porn and molestation?

Again?: Judge Marta Diaz is the link between Ayres and Forrest. Diaz sent boys to Ayres when she was a prosecutor in the 1990s and as a judge up until 2003. She tried to get the police to stop investigating Ayres in 2002, and then continued to send boys to him for another 15 months. She told the police that she and Ayres were good pals.

About three years ago, Diaz and Judge Robert Foiles chose Forrest to be Probation Chief. Diaz slathered on the praise for Forrest.

Ayres and Forrest worked together for some years at Hillcrest juvenile hall. Whether they exchanged porn is anyone's guess.
