"Stage Door"- Final Curtain Tomorrow Night 11/12

Original post made by Lyn Napel, Menlo Park: Allied Arts/Stanford Park, on Nov 11, 2011

Yearning to make it Big on Broadway. Being tempted to sell out to Hollywood. All the while struggling to survive another day. M-A High School proudly presents, "Stage Door" by Edna Ferber and George S. Kaufman, the fast-paced dramatic comedy about the 1930's Theater Scene in the midst of the Depression. The story unfolds in a busy NYC boarding house full of aspiring young actresses all competing with one another for parts and beaus, each one coming to grips with her own ambition, hoping for success while facing the real possibility of rejection and loss every day. Come cheer them on as they each decide their own fate!

Reviews have been very positive! The final performance is tomorrow night, Saturday, 11/12 at 7:30 PM, in the M-A Performing Arts Center on campus, at Ringwood Avenue and Middlefield Road. There is ample free parking.

Purchase tickets at the Box Office before the performance or online at Web Link

Hope to see you there!
