Time to fertilize? Menlo Park is giving away compost on Saturday, April 6.
Bring a shovel, proof of residency, and containers. Then help yourself to the large pile of compost at the entrance to Bedwell Bayfront Park, near the intersection of Bayfront Expressway and Marsh Road.
Each resident can claim about six full garbage cans’ worth of fertilizer. The event lasts from sunrise to sunset or until supplies run out.
