Original post made on Jan 14, 2014

The Las Lomitas District has only two schools and is a defacto private school that uses public money for rich white kids from Atherton, Ladera, and West Menlo Park to have their own schools. For years that has included MA as a high school for Las Lomitas with neighborhood kids from Ravenswood getting bused away. Going to high school with real world kids will be a good experience for the Las Lomitas grads...

There is no "south" and "north" parts of the Avenues of North Fair Oaks there is ONE North Fair Oaks. All parts are ONE community supporting our self supporting park, neighborhood saftey, community gatherings and school / family life, etc.
Because there is only a total immersion Spanish elementary school, many have to pay for private schools. To now be divided and made to go to antoher high school is rather cruel and unnecessary. Los Lomitas should then also be divided to be fair if NFO does get divited - which we can't accept !!!
