15th Amendment - Right to vote for all. Supported by 100% of the Republicans and 0% of the Democrats..

14th Amendment - Citizenship for freed slaves. Supported by 94% of the Republicans and 0% of the Democrats.

Obamacare, while not an amendment to the Constitution, was supported by 0% of the Republicans and 86% of the Democrats

and lil Randy Paul and most GOPpers readily object to the civil rights act because of concerns about businesses and their property rights to refuse service

Democrats in the south during the 60s were racist. After Johnson passed the civil rights act, the Dixiecrats quit the party and became republicans

Republicans have changed so much since those days.

Heck, even Reagan couldn't make it through Republican primaries these days. Too many tax hikes on the middle class. Too many drinks with Tip Oneil and other dems. Too many marines not retaliated for.

But probably enough indictments to impress the base.

Yes. Republicans have changed.

Our local rightie doesn't have much to say, so she goes back to some misrepresentaion about today's parties, based on events of centuries ago.

Why?

Because gas prices are down near two bucks, Obama has rebuilt the economy so many of the Americans who lost jobs in the Bush Great Recession are again employed, more Americans have health insurance than ever before, the stock market has gone from Bush's 7,000 to 17,0000, and so much more.

Tough times for the whiner crowd.

Probably expect to see some Clinton bashing soon.

Whoops! Too late.

Prience Riebus, the head of the GOP, is sending some "researchers" to Little Rock to re-write history. Again. (The GOP's) "..research and communications shops are focused almost entirely (the Clintons)" That means more Monica, boys and girls.

Sigh.

Republicans never learn.
